Personal Information

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It was a wonderful opportunity to see in person all of the things I had studied in the classroom over the course of the previous year.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program prepared us fully for the trip and was there throughout our travels to aide us in our individual learning and logistics around the city.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Hotel

It was very convenient to the train and bus station (Termine) and had lots of options for food surrounding the hotel.

* Food:

I love Italian food! Though by the end, I was a bit tired of pizza.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Our individual travels in the evenings and during the travel break are priceless memories. I learned so much just from living in the culture and not studying it.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I did always feel very cautious about how loudly I spoke and where we were in the city, but this is due to just being in a foreign country; not the fault of the university.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent between 50-75 dollars a week paying for 2 meals a day and usually at least one gelato a day!

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
