What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained independence. I learned how to do things on my own and feel much more confident while traveling.

My apartment was in a great location and I had great roommates!

Italian food is hands down, amazing.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt integrated, but am grateful that a lot of people spoke English.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not encounter any health problems.

* Safety:

I felt very safe and was always notified if something was going wrong.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

SAI was so supportive throughout the transition of living in different countries and put on great events throughout the semester.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I would say to save as much money as possible before going abroad, or try and get a paid internship while abroad.
