Overall Experience
It was absolutely worthwhile, it was the time of my life. - Indiana University - Bloomington View Entire Review
I gained a sense of independence and self-reliance that you can't get from staying in the U.S. No matter how far away your home is from your home school, it is easy to call mom or dad and figure it out. In Italy, there are obstacles in the way and overcoming them will make you stronger person. - University of South Carolina - Columbia View Entire Review
Past Review La Dolce Vita
I gained so much. I have learned so much about myself and so much about the world. It was definitely worthwhile and everyone should go abroad if they have the chance. - Austin College View Entire Review
I loved Italy so much that I have concidered finding a way to move there and become a citizen. It is very nice to live in a place that is not so commercial, where you can buy produce that is actually fresh and ripe, and the family is more important than work. It has shown me that the whole world is not the same, and that piece... - Winthrop University View Entire Review
YES! Growth in patience and relaxation--exactly what the Lord brought me over there for:) - Point Loma Nazarene University View Entire Review
I absolutely think my experience was worthwhile--I learned a lot about others and about myself, and I came back to the States with different perspectives and attitudes that I will carry with me in the future. - The College of William and Mary View Entire Review

I learned to deal with other countries. I met amazing people. I learned to appreciate little things like dishwashers, dryers and burgers. I look back on studying abroad everyday and wish I were still there. It changed me for the better, I figured out what I want to do with my life. I'm moving back to Europe after I graduate and I am thankful everyday for the decision I made to study in Italy. It was the best experience of my life, hands down. - The College of William and Mary View Entire Review
Yes it was worthwhile! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! I learned a lot about myself as well as about Italian culture in general. I can now also temper chocolate, pick wines out, and speak better Italian. - SUNY - Binghamton View Entire Review
Too much to say!! Amazing friends and experiences-- Can't put in to words what it was like to start fulfilling the dream of seeing the world. - University of South Carolina - Columbia View Entire Review
I could speak forever about how worthwhile my two trips abroad have been. I wish I could've stayed forever, and it's only a matter of time before I figure out the next way I can get back there. I have gained life-long friends from all over Europe and all over America that I made wonderful memories with. I gained knowledge about... - University of South Carolina - Columbia View Entire Review

A student studying abroad with SAI Programs: Florence - Florence University of the Arts
I think I learned more about myself and ability to be independent than I did about being out of my element culturally. I chose 4 stars because I was able to go out and see places I'd merely dreamed of seeing, and made me truly want to learn a beautiful language and possibly step outside the states again and take a hop across the... - Trinity University View Entire Review
Over the course of 3.5 months, I understand more about the world around me more than I ever could have possibly imagined. Although there were some things that I wasn’t necessarily a fan of, I left Florence in December with no regrets. Culturally, I gained so many experiences interacting and adjusting that I feel comfortable tryi... - Trinity University View Entire Review

It's definitely made me more conscientious of how other cultures perceive us as Americans, and sensitive to not reinforcing that stereotype. It gave me a glimpse into the Italian way of life and what they value. My experience has also made me consider going abroad again after I graduate from college, if I can find a way to do so... - Trinity University View Entire Review
I would not trade my experience for anything in the world. I really enjoyed the classes that I took and well as the people that I met. I have learned a lot about myself and about new cultures. The world is a big place and there is a lot going on. Europe is a place that everyone should (given the chance) visit. I am very gla... - SUNY - Binghamton View Entire Review
