Independence. It was absolutely worthwhile and I would do it all over again if I could.

The program I used was amazing, the benefit to SAI is they really encourage you to not only immerse yourself in your local culture but to explore everything that is around you too.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? maybe 40 euro
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Save as much as you possibly can! The more you have saved the less you have to worry while you're abroad and it makes your experience that much better.
