I learned a lifetime amount of experience. I have never been to Europe before this so it was brand new for me. I gained so much independence and life skills going there alone. It was very worthwhile. A student - University of Tampa View Entire Review

About
SAI invites students to experience Barcelona's vibrant diversity!
SAI’s partner school, the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), is a dynamic public university, which is consistently ranked among the top European universities. UPF offers undergraduate students a rich variety of courses, with specialization in social sciences, humanities, Hispanic studies, and business. UPF is an urban institution, with three campuses located throughout the city of Barcelona. SAI students studying abroad at UPF join a vibrant student community, with ample occasions to engage in campus activities.
In addition to supporting students throughout their stay in Barcelona, SAI also coordinates a range of activities and excursions throughout the term, including a weekend trip to Seville, cooking classes, a Flamenco dance demonstration, a Barcelona scavenger hunt, and many others. Students also have access to SAI’s network of partner organizations, allowing them to take part in volunteer activities, as well as language exchange opportunities with local students and families.
SAI students in Barcelona experience the overlapping cultural currents which flow through Barcelona; from its origins as an ancient Mediterranean settlement, to its unique status as the modern capital of
Catalonia. Visiting students immerse themselves in the dynamic entity which is Barcelona and examine the influences which impact this remarkable community, from the local to the global.
