About

RILA offers undergraduate interdisciplinary courses on great books while exploring the art and architecture of Rome in order to articulate fundamental questions across disciplines. RILA's classrooms are located in an historic building , the Collegio Romano, located in the historic center of Rome, near the Pantheon. Discussion based classes on philosophy, literature, and history are designed together with excursions led by art historians and classicists through Italy's artistic heritage. Our faculty and advisory committee combines professors from the very best American universities and college core text programs with important Italian art historians and cultural managers.
