What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I became much better at writing and speaking Spanish. I am happy I went abroad, but if given the chance to do it again I would choose a different program and city.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew how hard it is to live with a host family. I had little to no control over what/when I ate, I felt it necessary to stay in my room while I was in the apartment, and I never felt at home.
