What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My Spanish improves a lot and I have become more confident in my abilities to use it even if it is still not perfect.I learned about a whole new way of life. I learned how to adapt to a new lifestyle and to a new academic environment. I became even more independent.

i managed to find some local friends but i felt like our friendships really started to consolidate as I was leaving

I felt very safe in Córdoba

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The program staff was amazing. They were so accessible. I loved living with a host family. The trips and activities organized by the program were a great way to get immersed in the culture.

Finances

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Europe is expensive, but if you don't travel or go to many cafes you will not have to spend any extra money.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 25 euro I was not traveling.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? cafe trips add up

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? you live with host families! take advantage of their spanish. Even speaking to american students in spanish will help because you mind is thinking in the language
