Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

For the most part I think administration work really well together. Sometimes I just wished there was more communication between the administration and professors + host families.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Very satisfied my host family was very accommodating and taught me a lot.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The program offer cultural classes: cooking, seviilanas and flamenco (dancing), guitar, theatre, and even horse backing riding! We also the opportunity to have conversation partners.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Overall Cordoba is really safe, however some guys have been catcalled and I have been followed home a few times.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The program had so many benefits: the cultural classes, wonderful host families, hardworking administration, and a motivated group of students.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Our housing and food were already taken care of so I did need to budget.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I went out to eat frequently. I would estimate 10 euros each week.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try to only spend money on experiences. Those will be more memorable.
