It was worthwhile. I would go back in a heartbeat. I learned a lot about other cultures and made a lot of friends.

It was ok. Sometimes was a lot of help, other times not so much. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
It was a 20 minute walk from the school. One of my flat mates emailed me before I left and asked me if I wanted to live there with her. |

Cooked most of my meals. I also ate a lot healthier. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Las Fallas and a couple of other events that were in the city I lived in. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |

The school didn't help much with health things. My roommate got very sick and was in the hospital for 3 days and they didn't offer any help. The city was for the most part safe, the only time I felt unsafe was walking alone at night. |

A Look Back
| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Don't take a lot of stuff over there. You will only wear half the clothes you bring and will end up buying stuff while there. |
