What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained more of a sense of independence and I realized that I can make it on my own. I also got a taste of living in another country and I don't want my study away experience to be my only out of the USA experience now.

A Look Back
| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | The person who needs to develop more independence will really benefit from this program. My advice would be to live by the rule of yes. If you get invited to do something, even if it is out of your comfort zone, then at least give it a try. You'd be surprised what you might end up enjoying. |
