Students can stay with local families for a complete "Immersion" experience. Homestays are usually a 20 to 40 minute bus ride from downtown. Families offer a private room, linens, and towels. Some hosts may allow access to their laundry facilities; otherwise students will be directed to the nearest laundromat. Puerto Ricans are very warm people who will consider the student as "one of the family". Students will receive his/her host confirmation at least 2 weeks before arrival.
