My study abroad experience was worthwhile, it gave me a chance to explore a city and culture and challenged me to do that on my own.

Great knowledge of the host country with many locals to aid in the transition into french culture. My expectations were met academically.

Housing situation was fine, the student residence was taken very good care of.

nothing memorable arranged by my program, but many amazing events to see as a student living in paris!

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Paris is very safe as long as you are a logical person and avoid glaringly sketchy / dangerous places late at night.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? including 70 euros worth of restaurant vouchers, per week I spent about 100 euros.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? the better you know the city the less you will spend. Do your research and find out where the cheap delicious places to eat are, where affordable shopping is located. It is very possible to spend little money.

Language acquisition improvement?

Practiced language with students from the program and locals throughout my summer experience, in every day interactions most people spoke english.
