My study abroad experience was definitely worthwhile. I got to know another part of the world and I had a chance to experience independence. It was truly a growing experience and I would definitely do it again. Maura G - New York University View Entire Review
I learned that the world is more accessible than I thought it was. I learned that I am capable of exploring and traveling on my own, and I learned just how independent I really can be. My experience has inspired me to travel more, as often as time and money allows! It was worth more than I could have ever imagined! Heather L - New York University View Entire Review

About
The NYU London academic center, located in the literary district of Bloomsbury that is also home to the British Museum and the University of London, offers students a unique opportunity to experience the history and culture of one of the greatest cities of Europe. While in London students engage with the lore, culture, and pageantry of England's past and present, from ancient through modern times. Course offerings combine with the cultural and professional resources of the British Museum, the BBC, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and the financial sector of London, known as the City, to make students’ time in London truly memorable. Premedical students and science majors are encouraged to study in London where they can take courses approved by the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS).
Students at NYU London take advantage of a number of special programs, including guided tours of the British Museum, the Globe Theatre, the Tate Modern, the National Gallery, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower of London. Class trips take students to the BBC, the Houses of Parliament, London's financial district, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Walking tours presenting the architecture and history of Soho, Bloomsbury, Westminster, and other areas of the city are activities included in NYU London’s orientation week. Full-time student affairs staff plan trips to places outside of London, including Stonehenge, Windsor, Oxford, Canterbury, and Greenwich, where the literary and historical life of England comes alive.
