What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned so much about myself, how I work under pressure, my strengths in the field of theater and where I need to grow, and I gained so many incredible relationships that I feel so blessed to have.

Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 2 weeks - 1 month

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Incredibly intense. I learned SO much and pushed my limits in more ways than I ever imagined. It was so worth the hard work.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

They were great! Super helpful and communicative. Easily accessible and cared about each individual student very much.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Housing was beautiful! Really nice and all accommodations were immaculate and if there were any issues, they were responded to immediately.

* Food:

It was pretty good! Not amazing, but totally satisfactory.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The O'Neill is kind of a world of its own, and in that environment and culture I absolutely felt like part of the family. I did not feel connected to the town of Waterford, but I was not expecting to, it was not a goal of the program.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

They immediately responded to health concerns and gave rides to the clinic.

* Safety:

Again, the surrounding town was not really on my radar, but the O'Neill campus felt incredibly safe, and they were clearly taking all steps to keep us feeling safe and comfortable.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

ABSOLUTELY. I grew so much and it was entirely life changing. I am so grateful. I miss it so much.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Everything was included. I felt very well cared for.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $25
