Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The college curricullum in Japan is still periodic, meaning that the school goes through periods 1-5 throughout the day. I found this a lot different considering that college students back home select their own schedule.

* Host Country Program Administration

Everyone that helped me get everything organized was very helpful.

* Housing:

* Food:

all of the food that I ate was really good.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The school took us on a field trip early in the semester that was a lot of fun. Other than that, there were more experiences than could possible be listed here.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The city in which we stayed was very safe all around, especially the area the school was in.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? per month probably 30,000 yen. but that is also going out and whatnot
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Everything was stated pretty much
