The international student can also arrange his/her studies on his/her own initiative and in this case he/she has to pay for them. Such student is called a non-degree FREE MOVER (or Visiting student). International students can apply as so-called "free-movers" for one or two semesters without being part of a specific exchange program.

You may apply to study at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) as a free mover if:


  • Your home university has an exchange agreement with MRU, but you have not been nominated as an exchange student, or

  • Your home university does not have a formal exchange agreement with MRU
