Munich Summer Curriculum (MSC) "Electronic Media"
Students from all over the world, attending accredited universities, are invited to participate in an exciting and demanding nine week long Summer Curriculum: "Electronic Media" This program covers subject matter ranging from history and analysis of Media Technology, Media Management, Media Ethics, Media Theory and Communication Sciences to Media Informatics and Human Computer Interaction. The program finishes with a four-week internship at a German media company.
The MSC program is open to qualified and motivated students with an avid interest in new media and in German culture, language and life. With a minimum of sophomore standing at the inception of the program, students from various majors such as Journalism, Mass Communication, Radio/Television/Film, Broadcasting, Business, Electronic Media and Digital Design are invited to apply. The language of instruction is English. The curriculum is framed by "survival" German language instruction and highlighted by visits to Berlin and Salzburg, to museums, castles, theaters and a hike in the magnificent Alps.
Students can earn up to 9 US semester credits (18 ECTS credits) while attending the MSC, provided that the curriculum is approved by the student’s home institution.
