Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I had a good time in Tokyo not necessarily because of the program itself but due to the city`s unique charm.

The cafeteria is good but the menus are pretty much the same daily.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

As a one-term student who lived in international dorm/ had no chance to take class with Japanese students, I found social scene was difficult to engage.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Tokyo is very expensive especially the transportation. Please budget carefully.

Thought we had language pledge, it was hard to keep it because of the international living environment.
