Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Courses varied widely in intensity My UNIFI class was very rigorous in adition to being in Italian. My grammar class was difficult, but not rigorous, with high expectations and no helpful resources to improve. My lit class was wonderful. My History of the language class was very easy.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

* Health Care:

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

I think I would have enjoyed a program with more of a social network and more support for meeting locals. The middlebury program mostly facilitates your academic interactions, and I think this is an incomplete part of the experience. Even just a list of things students have done in the past would have been helpful

Reasons For Studying Abroad

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.

Course Department:
Instructor: Rodolfo Sacchettini
Instruction Language: Italian
Comments: The class was appropriately challenging, with long readings combined with an understanding of our level of italian. Fieldtrips were interesting and informative to get a sense of the conext of our nevels. I participated as much as I do at MIddlebury. Assessments came in in class essays, a final paper, and a final exam
