i learned a lot about privilege and poverty because perspective is shoved in your face whether you like it or not.

almost no academic rigor, but that's not the value of the program

vinita was a great resource at the beginning but it was a tad frustrating towards the end when communication was not optimal

delhi is not for the faint of heart, but it is an incredibly rewarding experience.

if you're smart about it, you can spend almost no money because food is so cheap. I spent a good amount because I wanted to and could.

Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
