What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Incredibly worthwhile. Besides the huge growth in my language abilities, I made amazing friends and learned so much about myself and what I need as a person.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I learned more in Beijing than I have almost anywhere else. Great teachers, great support, really hard.

Fantastic. I felt incredibly well supported the entire time whether it be for academics or for cultural adjustments.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I loved living in such close corders with fellow program members and also getting the benefit of staying with native students.

Cheep, lots of options, no complaints.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt very integrated through my roommate. I would have liked to be part of more clubs.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I always felt safe. I made sure to go out with other students just in case.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

This whole program really just blew me away. We had a lot of independence and yet so much support when we needed it. I hope that everyone has a chance to experience something like Middlebury in Beijing at some point in their lives.
