What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Time management ability, historical insight, research ability. Although the program is quite short, I believe all of us encountered friendships that will be long lasting and meaningful. Yes, it is definitely worthwhile.

The CMRS building is quite old, but the location is awesome. It does not provide much housing options besides double rooms.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The Oxford CMRS program is way beyond my expectation. The 4-month program is structured almost like an entire undergrad-level curriculum, which covers all necessary academic trainings, such as researching, reading, writing, discussion, independent study, etc. CMRS definitely further developed my intellectual curiosity and challenged my academic ability. Tutors and the admin team are amazing. Marie-Louise is one of the best teachers/human I've ever met.

A Look Back

  • The first two months are almost too intense, but the last month only has a research project. Maybe the workload can be even out a little bit.
  • We need better tutors for some subjects!
  • The housing condition.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? The intensity of the curriculum, especially for the first two months.
