I learned how to live on my own in an unfamiliar place. It was very worthwhile.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

We had access to Keble dining hall, but I mostly cooked for myself. We had a kitchen and refrigerator and the administration was always happy to supply missing items from the kitchen.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I joined a church and a rowing team but because we were not living with Keble students I never felt like we were fully integrated.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I felt very well cared for. Insurance was taken care of and administration made sure all of the students knew where to go if we were feeling the least bit poorly.

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Things are expensive, but I made a budget so it worked out.
