SUMMER IN MADRID
Amazing Madrid, busting with art, history and culture. Study materials engineering and Spanish in this amazing city and world class university (UPM).
Madrid is the capital and largest city of Spain with a population of roughly 3.4 million. It is also the third largest city in the European Union after London and Berlin and is the financial and cultural center of the country. It is a modern city with a vibrant economic and cultural life. Students will have easy access to Toledo, Seville, and Barcelona by bus and train. Student information meetings will give details of the program.
During this summer engineering program, MSU students will have the opportunity to study in Madrid at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). UPM is the oldest and largest of the Spanish Technical Universities, with more than 3,000 faculty members, 18,000 undergraduate students, and 8,000 graduates. Most leading Spanish educators and researchers have been involved with UPM either as students or teachers, and sometimes both.
Six-weeks long, the program will include multiple engineering majors - MSE, CHE, ME, CEE, EE, and others by department permission
