About
Participants can expect to gain production experiences, while developing their understanding of cultures and exploring the creative world.
Over the last decade and a half, the media industry in India has gained more prominence and notoriety. Bollywood, the Indian version of Hollywood has more productions than any other center in the world. Indian studios and facilities are providing increasing services to major worldwide productions. The cultural backgrounds of Indian and the United States are radically different. Every moment that the participants spend in India will be enriching for them; from the predictable cow on the street to the huge IT and media operations next to a cow shed.
The goals of the program are:
- To orient the students to the media environment in India
- To give them the professional experience of working on a live production location
- To train them to be a team player
- To give them a solid foundation to be appreciative and respectful of other cultures
