What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Living in Italy changed me for the rest of my life. Believe me when I say even if it seems scary it is beyond worth it. You realize and develop a part of you that you did not know existed. Being there 5 months was not enough.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? The best way to practice is to use it with real people that speak it. I learned more from talking to people in Italian than in the classroom.
