Honestly, my time experience abroad was the best if not the best time of my life. I met so many people from across the world, I discovered what I wanted to focus on in my career, I bonded so co closely with nature, and my culinary skills also improved. This was such a peaceful and fun time- an experience that I would not trade f... Lisa Dong - University of California - Riverside View Entire Review
New Zealand isn't too different culturally from America. We speak the same language, which I think made my study abroad experience much easier than it would have been going to a country where I didn't know the language. But the culture is quite a bit different - everything is much more laid back and less goal oriented, which was... Carly W - Middlebury College View Entire Review

I definitely found my physical limits, and I am more aware of what I can do versus what I shouldn't do but still can. I feel like I got completely ripped off by not being able to go really anywhere outside of the college town. It is very hard for me to feel that it was worthwhile, but I think I have grown as a person because of ... A student - Stephens College View Entire Review

Stepping completely outside of the culture you grew up in is the most amazing experience I have ever had, and I would not hesitate to do it again. Emma S - University of California - Merced View Entire Review
About
Lincoln is known for the high number of students from around the globe, choosing to study at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
We are a deliberately specialised University. And yet we are uniquely positioned to work alongside industry, our community, and people from around the globe, to achieve our mission.
The issues we have identified are complex. And the opportunities are not rooted in a single solution, or the view of one discipline. We recognise a lot of challenges, both now and in the future, exist where those disciplines and demands run up against each other.
So we are preparing our graduates to enter the land-based economy ready to come at these problems from more than one perspective, with the experience to negotiate between competing interests and balance demands to provide the best possible solutions.
We are proud to say that we are ranked among the world’s top 500 universities by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), and in the top 100 in the field of agriculture and forestry. We are also proud of our international alliances with institutions from around the world.
Lincoln University meets the requirements of the New Zealand Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. The Code sets out the standards, procedures and a complaint framework for the care and protection of all international students studying in New Zealand.
