CQUniversity Rockhampton has over 130 courses for international students to choose from across all majors. The university has a particularly strong reputation for its Engineering, Environmental Science, Nursing, and Agriculture programs, but there are also faculties of Business, Law, Computer Science, and Arts & Humanities. CQUniversity is considered Australia’s most inclusive university with 31% of students from overseas, and has an excellent track record in research. CQU Rockhampton has two campuses. Rockhampton City is in the city centre while Rockhampton North is the larger, main campus, a 10 minute drive north of the city. Rockhampton North sits on acres of parkland with lush gardens and modern facilities. Here you’ll find state-of-the-art civil, electrical and mechanical engineering laboratories, paramedic nursing labs, a refurbished library and Allied Health Clinic. CQU Rockhampton takes sport seriously, and facilities include a 400-metre grassed athletics oval, 25-metre swimming pool, and a gym with classes. The Campus Life Committee has a full calendar of events and activities for students. There is dedicated accommodation for 350 students on campus and a regular bus connects Rockhampton North campus and the city.
