The Japan summer programs for students over 18 year old feature a theme of culture discovery or homestay immersion integrated with language learning.  The Japanese language classes will be taught in a combination of Japanese and English, which a focus on the spoken in the lower levels, while higher levels have a better balance of reading, writing, speaking and listening. Prior knowledge in Japanese in not required, although many students do.  The culture classes and excursions provide students with opportunities to experience the Japanese arts and culture in Tokyo and surrounding areas. The homestay experience allows you to experience the real Japan, while other options like dormitories and apartments are available.

Semester Programs:


  • General Japanese Program in Tokyo, Japan: Students enrol either in the Conversation Focused Course or General Intensive Course, both of these two courses are Monday to Friday total 20 lessons per week.  Zero beginner can either enrol in the zero beginner level of the Conversation Focused Course or Hiragana & Katakana Course. The Conversation Focused course covers basic grammar, vocabulary, and Japanese culture & customs in order to improve your fluency. This course will enable you to speak with confidence.   The levels for this course are: Zero Beginner, Beginner, Upper Beginner and Intermediate I. There are morning classes only, from 9:10am -12:40 pm.   The class size is 5-15 students, with an average of 7-10.


  • Manga and Japanese Combined Program: The Course is for students who intend to learn Manga and Japanese all at same. In this program, you will learn how to draw a face and whole body in Manga, above all, how to draw characters in different genre of Japanese Manga such as Ninja, Teen Drama, adventures, etc.
