What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Apart from gaining knowledge from lessons taught in class, I undoubtedly gained invaluable friendships and memories over the course of the programme. I was exposed to Korea's rich culture and history, which greatly deepened my knowledge of the country as a whole and helped me share my experience with others interested in paying a visit to Korea. It was definitely worthwhile attending the programme.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • I highly enjoyed the flexibility of the programme with regards to class timings. I was able to explore Korea in my own time as a result of such flexibility provided. Furthermore, the reasonable amount of coursework made the courses all the more manageable during my exchange in Korea.
  • I also thoroughly enjoyed the cultural activities that were planned for us, as they formed irreplaceable experiences that I would not have been able to experience in my home country. They also provided deeper insights into Korea's culture for those who were new to the country's culture overall.
  • The staff facilitating the entire programme were very hospitable and friendly, and always assisted students in a timely manner when necessary. Through this, I was assured that my stay in Korea would be a truly pleasant and smooth one.
* What could be improved?
  • There could be a wider selection of courses made available for students who wish to take on the 4-week programme, as the options offered previously was rather limited.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew beforehand that navigating Korea's subway stations involved climbing numerous flights of stairs at a time, which can be a challenge with heavy luggages on hand.
