Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The Overall Educational Experience was honestly the best! There were so many activities that KU provided for us. My professor was great, he was very helpful. The Course itself was very rigorous, I learned a lot in just one month. KUISC did not fail to make this fun but educational.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

I felt like the Administration was very organized and they were so nice! Every time I had a problem, they were happy to help me, and I appreciate that.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I was satisfied with the living arrangements. I stayed at CJ International House, my roomate was honestly the best! Overall, CJ was very neat and and the dorm was spacious. I like that every floor had their own study room, very useful! The hills going up to CJ killed me every time lol.

* Food:

THE FOOD IS AWESOME! I highly recommend Book's Cafe by Woodang Hall, I would always hang there after class. Besides that, there were so many restaurants near the school, you have so many options. Also, Ediya has good mango smoothies !

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt very integrated with the local culture, people were very kind and welcoming! Once you go out and explore different parts of Seoul, it's a whole new experience, every place is different.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt like it was safe walking around at night, on and off campus. I didn't have any problems with anyone, everything went great.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I would do this over and over again. The program at Korea University is the best, and I was never bored. There was much to do every day. It was a great experience, and I made great friends that are literally the best people!

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

It was okay to live on a student's budget, there is just a lot of things Seoul has that makes you want to BUY. Tried my best to save money.

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
How much did the program encourage you to use the language?

0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language
