Korea University: Seoul - International Summer Campus

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learnt a lot for the exchange experience. I joined the four weeks program in Korea University which is one of the best university in Korea and its international summer campus is even one of the best in Asia. It was a definitely fruitful experience for me. First, the high quality lectures enhanced our knowledge and skills. We can choose from a wide range of courses including business, language, social, law and science. My choice was Introduction to International Relation, taught by James Ashley from London School of Economics. It was a great course and I learnt how to analyse the relations between sovereign states and the role that non-state actors play in international affairs and the business environment and policies in different countries in this course

Korea University provided some cultural activities for us including Taekwondo, Lotte World tour , Kpop Dance and also Korean cooking class. They were really fun and I enjoyed a lot. Taekwondo is one of the signature sport in Korea and almost all Korean boys love it. And Lotte World is an amazing theme park and the games there are interesting. Also, there is no doubt that K pop is popular now all around the world, dancing with all other exchange student is an enjoyable experience. I also learnt how to cook Korean food in the cooking class which improved my cooking skills. Third, I met more new friends in Korea which enlarge my social circle. It was perfect to spend time with them and learnt different culture in different countries which I will never forget. We joined the cultural activities and also went shopping together. I cherish this relationship and I am sure that I will meet them very soon. To conclude, I enjoyed a lot during this exchange programme. I have already missed Seoul now. Thank you very much for KUISC giving me this unforgettable experience. I hope that I can join more exchange programme next time. Also, I will go back to Korea again very soon.
