Great trip, but lots of work! Past Review

By (Berea College) - abroad from 12/26/2017 to 01/06/2018 with

KIIS: Paris - Munich Winter Program

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that other places are just other places. Sure it is a wonderful thing to travel and see things, but also be aware that those people are people just like you and places just like this. Be humbled.

I loved the food and cultural aspects, and that we were able to do things on our own in small groups, but it was quite a bit of work to me.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

We were given lunch money and I ended up not spending more than 100 of my own euros.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? only about 150 euros throughout, though I didn't buy too much outside
