What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
This program taught me as much about myself as it did about history. I learned that I am a lot more corageous than I give myself credit for. It was comepletely worth it.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The classes were not too rigorous, so they alloted a lot of time for enjoyment of the material and excursions throughout the city.

I was put in a small hotel room with 3 other guys that I made lasting friendships with.

The food was absolutely amazing. I miss it so much.

I spoke to and tried to converse with a new German person every day.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Berlin is an extremely safe city! I walked about at night on weekends with no problems.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew more German. I wish I would have taken Intermediate German at least before I went.
