I learned about a new culture, the history of Italy and I got the chance to learn a new language. It was definitely worthwhile and I'd do it again if I could.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Personally, I always budget my money. So maybe keep 50 euros in your wallet and lock any other cash that you have in your suitcase to not touch it. Don't buy much souvenirs until the end, so you can spend your money on the necessities.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew about the siesta hours, I'm not used to that in any other country that I've visited.
