Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The professors were ok, not the greatest teachers, one got mad because the students were all beginners in his subject and he expected us to be well versed. The people and staff at the school were phenomenal though.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

I had a personal advisor while at JCU and she was always available to help or provide me with advice or anything I needed.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Loved the housing I was right across from the Vatican with e beautiful view of the tower from my balcony. I had never spoken english and never really learned it was not what I had went there for and I didn't really make an effort to learn in the 1 month I was there.

* Food:

Everything was prepared with fresh ingredients and there would be so much food for your buck.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Great people and a great country loved being there wish I never had to leave.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Heard of gypsies and thieves before I went. Never saw a robbery or anyone getting hurt. I had a sore throat one day and was seen by a doctor quickly and with no money out of my pocket.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
