* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

5 bedroom apartment housing 8 people, including the one T.A. as well as another two bedroom apartment housing 3 people. Great neighborhood, right on the tevere and around the corner from a great market <br /><br />

* Food:

Are you kidding me, its ROME!!! the food is incredible!!!!!!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

lots of fun, made some great friends

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

i felt safe, and no one got hurt or sick

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes


* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? ugh... too much
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? buy at markets, not grocery stores


How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
Language acquisition improvement?

getting coffee, ordering food, asking how much for a certain product, hagleing, shooting the breeze with roomates... (mostly using the curse words)

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? do it... on the first day, wake up at 5 am, go for a run... i dont go for runs, but i did this and it was incredible. also, get lost in the city... every day, go further, go deeper, bring a camera
