Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The workload was way less, yet I feel like I learned just as much if not more. On the whole the Spanish/European culture was less stressful than in the United States.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

I don't have any complaints. The workload of the classes was sufficient and enjoyable. The classes there were easier to attend than the ones of my own university

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Prepare to be shocked the most by the food. It takes a while to adjust. Many people lost weight in the beginning but it comes back after you adjust. Be open minded

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The excursions to other cities were great. Also the language exchanges were very helpful

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Malaga was a great safe city. The ISA staff was always helpful with anything

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

* What could be improved?
  • I really don't have any complaints about the program.
