Classes were lecture style but used the Socratic method.

I was fortunate to be there for the World Cup, their bicentennial, and census. Great excursions.

I felt the program was overly concerned and employed scare tactics. I think I would have enjoyed the experience more if I wasn't so unnecessarily scared.

Finances

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $40- I didn't go out to clubs and bars as often as others.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Pre-plan your trips and how much they will cost so you're not surprised later.
