About
For Summer 2020 join our 6-week study abroad program in Borneo, Malaysia, a global biodiversity hotspot. Expand your knowledge of wildlife conservation surveys, techniques and mitigation strategies whilst gaining international experience. Encounter dolphins, elephants, orangutans, hornbills (just to name a few), leaving you with a truly unforgettable experience!
You must be aged 18-23 in good physical condition for hiking up to 5 miles in hot/humid conditions carrying 20 lbs of gear.
You'll undertake a range of lectures, seminars and wildlife surveys and volunteer with local Borneo wildlife organizations. Academic credit will be an optional addition through an accredited 4-year university.
Open to international students. Do you want to plant coral, look for hatching sea turtle nests, document primate behavior, engage with reformed poachers, and search for potentially undiscovered species?
We encourage you to contact us today as spots fill up fast.
