Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Michel Thomas Method. Fantastic CD series. I started using towards the end of my stay and I feel that it taught me more in one of the cd's (there are 5-8 of them) about useful German phrases than I did from the class that I attended while there.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • International Students and the core group of students and buddies.
* What could be improved?
  • Tougher classes overall. Some of the final exams were tough but the semester lectures were very easy and did not fully prepare the students for the amount of work and answers they will need to complete the final exam.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? the school was more like an technical and community college in the US than like an American University.
