What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I came out a better person, knowing more about me and who I was and what I wanted from life. It helped show me the foreign world and how I want to spend much of my time in South American after medical school.

My host family was very nice, but a little crazy. And they were the only house that didnt have internet so it was hard to communicate with my family back home at times.

I did not eat red meat at the time.
