How to be independent, while learning about myself along the way. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Past Review Go To London
I gained independence, travel experience, had the best work/life balance of my life ... there's so much to say. It was definitely worthwhile. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
It was interesting to function within a different academic system, but it did make me appreciate my education in the US. I also loved being able to go to so many museums and learn outside of the classroom. It was an incredible five months of living independently, getting to know London, and traveling all over. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
It was definitely worthwhile. I am much more confident to do things by myself. If I can travel alone in not only a foreign city, but also a foreign country and continent, then I can travel anywhere in the US and take this confidence into other activities. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
A student studying abroad with IFSA-Butler: London - King's College London
I gained a new appreciation and respect for what living independently really means. London gave me the opportunity to figure out who I am away from everything in my comfort zone. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I definitely got to see a non American-centric view of the world, which was nice for once. It was definitely a nice changed. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Past Review Incredible
I had wanted to travel my whole life and I got to do a lot of that and learn what it was like in a lot of different places. I got to see so many amazing things. Definitely a dream come true. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I really enjoyed living in London. I learned how to live on my own in a new country. I became more confident and took the initiative more often. I also learned how to adjust to a new environment and different academic system. It was difficult at first to adjust to living in London, but I had an amazing experience. I highly recom... - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Learned a lot about other cultures, and learned how to be incredibly independent while traveling without phone service in other countries. - Amherst College View Entire Review
It was wonderful to experience a city I'd been wanting to visit for years. I loved the culture, and the actual experience of living in Central London. I gained a real sense of confidence and comfort, and it was totally worthwhile. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned a ton about myself. I became even more independent and comfortable with myself and my ability to live in the world. I missed home, but I also learned not to be scared of graduating from college because the tools I have learned at Brandeis will be applicable no matter where I end up in a year. - Brandeis University View Entire Review

Past Review Interesting
It was worthwhile - Indiana University - Bloomington View Entire Review
Living in London for a semester was incredibly helpful in providing an experience for budgeting and adjusting to independent life in a metropolitan area. While the academic aspect of this program, as it seems with many UK schools, is very dependent on major(s)/classes taken, overall there is a lot less academic work than a typic... - Brandeis University View Entire Review

I learned a lot, both in and out of the classroom. I was able to live in an Amazing city and had easy access to the rest of Europe. It was definitely worthwhile. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I definitely learned about being independent and got to experience more cultures that allowed me to think about the world and people differently. I think it was worthwhile and gave me a chance to change up my college routine. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
It was very worthwhile, probably the best thing I've ever done. I learned more about the world and the people in it. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Past Review Amazing
Learned how to live outside my comfort zone. One of the best experiences of my life. - University of Tulsa View Entire Review
A better sense of how big the world is, how to interact with people in different situations, how to be alone (in a big city like this, you will quite possibly spend more time alone than ever before, but not necessarily in a bad way), how to make decisions and take initiative... - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I finally got to fully indulge my passion for Medieval European history on the actual ground. I loved every minute of exploring the historical culture, the museums, and traveling Europe. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
