Great time in Dublin May 12, 2022

By (English, Brandeis University) - abroad from 01/17/2022 to 05/08/2022 with

IFSA: Dublin - Trinity College

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned so much about myself and how to take care of myself and navigate a city on my own. I learned how to utilize resources at a new giant university to help me succeed in my classes. I learned so much about Irish history and culture! I gained a broader perspective on the world.

IFSA didn't really feel like it gave me a community. I loved my housing and the friends I made from my living situation who were on my program, but the program wasn't coordinated in a way that encouraged me to make friends with others on my program. I would definitely choose Dublin and Trinity College again.
