Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I learned a lot of stuff I wouldn't have at my home university.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

They did a lot of extra stuff for us. They made sure everything went smoothly and everything was taken care of.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Three person apartment with 3 singles, a bathroom, and a common room. If you wanted to be in a mixed apartment with guys and girls, it is possible.

They took care of us. Alittle slow on the uptake.

* Food:

They had a lot of the same food every night.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I made some great friends for life.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I never felt worried about anything.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? About $250
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? It is alot more expensive to live there than you think.

Language

Language acquisition improvement?

It was in Australia. English speaking country.
