The area was safe and very close to public transportation. Our apartment had more space than expected.

Finances

I should have budgeted more; it would have been possible for me to spend less money than I did.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? At least 100 Euro, food is affordable but going out to eat or going out for drinks in the evening makes things more expensive
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Going out is really fun, but it can be expensive.
