What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I improved my language skills in I way that I couldn't have if I hadn't gone abroad. I also made friendships that I believe will last.

We were educated during our german classes about Austrian history. There were also opportunities to get to know locals through a language buddy program.

We were given a list of doctors to choose from that spoke fluent english. We were also clearly instructed on how to file insurance forms.

I was never worried for my safety while in Vienna.
