What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I truly learned how to budget. Even though I lived with Americans it, was an eye opening experience having such different people (with different backgrounds/ from different parts of the US) interacting under one roof. It was different than college because you partially interact with people different people, but spend a majority of a time with your friends. In Australia I experienced living, studying, touring, and spending all my time with people so different than me. It was an amazing experience. I made life long friends and grew tremendously as a person.

A Look Back

  • The freedom

  • Warnings on actually how expensive everything is there
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? How expensive transportation is. Also I don't think I was given enough information that Australia is in its winter season May-June. I packed summer clothing and had to buy a majority of my clothing abroad.
