What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned about so many new cultures and I even learned more about the US from being away from it for so long. I learned that I can get along with all types of people and that I can adjust and be flexible to travel the world.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

IES was great but the company they used for housing wasn't as good. Not as helpful as I would have wanted.

I was in Italy.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I sprained my ankle and they helped so much and got me excused from some classes with no problem.

No problems

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I spent a lot, but I don't regret it.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't worry about saving money, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Make friends in the host country and speak with them. Also challenge yourself to use the language with your roommates when you're just hanging out.
